The age-old quote “It takes a village” has applied for thousands of years and will continue to do so for many more. Education facilities are integral to the ecosystem of communities, sharing a bidirectional relationship where each supports the other. You cannot have a strong school without a strong community, and vice versa. Nurturing relationships between our community and school is essential for strengthening the quality of education outcomes, which, in turn, benefit the community.

Practical solutions, such as inviting community experts into classrooms to share their passions and skills with students, provide meaningful learning experiences that should be cherished and utilized as much as possible. Schools also serve their communities by hosting events, organizing fundraisers, and creating safe, inclusive environments for community engagement.
